The Sparkle Behind the North Pole Tree Lighting Ceremony
By Candy Cane Callie, Events & Festivities Editor
Hello, merry friends! It’s Candy Cane Callie here, your guide to all the festive fun happening in North Pole Village. The most dazzling event of the season just took place: the annual North Pole Tree Lighting Ceremony!
Every year, elves, reindeer, and even a few penguins gather in the Village Square. The tallest evergreen is dressed in twinkling lights, shiny ornaments, and candy canes (my personal touch, of course!). The air fills with carols, the smell of gingerbread, and the jingling of sleigh bells.
Santa himself arrives to lead the countdown. When the last number is shouted, the switch flips, and the tree bursts into light — brighter than a sky full of stars! Children gasp, elves cheer, and even Frosty tips his hat in approval.
But the magic isn’t only in the lights. It shines in the way everyone comes together — holding hands, singing songs, and sharing cocoa. It’s a reminder that the true sparkle of Christmas comes from community, kindness, and joy.
So, if you ever find yourself near the North Pole in December, don’t miss our Tree Lighting Ceremony. Until then, light your own tree, sing a carol, and let your heart shine just as brightly.
Yours in stripes and sparkle,
Candy Cane Callie
