Top 5 Funniest Wish List Requests This Season
By Jingles McGlitter, Head Elf & Official North Pole Postmaster
Ho ho hello, merry readers! It’s your pal Jingles McGlitter, writing to you from the busiest desk in the North Pole — mine! As Head Elf and Postmaster, I see every letter that swooshes down the enchanted mail chute. Some letters are sweet, some are serious, and some… well, they make me snort cocoa out of my nose. This year, I thought I’d share my Top 5 Funniest Wish List Requests — straight from Santa’s incoming mailbags. (Don’t worry, names are kept top-secret — Santa insists on privacy, even when the elves are giggling.)
1. A Unicorn Driver’s License
One clever child already has their unicorn picked out. Now they just need the license. If I see unicorns zooming past reindeer in the skies, I’ll know who to thank.
2. A Lifetime Supply of Macaroni and Cheese
We elves love mac and cheese too. But this child calculated it would take one ton per year! Let’s hope Santa’s sleigh can handle the extra weight.
3. A Remote-Controlled Elf
One ambitious youngster asked for “an elf who does chores and homework.” Ha! If only they knew how hard it is to keep Sparklefoot focused on our chores.
4. A Snow Machine That Works Indoors
This one nearly had me rolling in glitter. “Snow days all year round, even in summer.” Sounds delightful… but Mrs. Claus said absolutely not after the last kitchen snowstorm.
5. A Self-Walking Dog Leash
Now that’s innovation! The elves in the Workshop’s Invention Corner are actually thinking about this one. Imagine a leash that walks the dog while you sip cocoa… brilliant!
Letters like these remind us that children’s imaginations are boundless. Santa reads every single wish carefully — whether it’s for a puppy, a toy train, or an indoor snow machine. And even if not every request makes it into the sleigh, Santa treasures the joy behind each one, and answers as many as he can.
Keep those letters coming, my friends! The silliest wish can bring the biggest smile at the North Pole.
