Believe in the Magic: A Personalized Letter from Santa Claus
By Jingles McGlitter, Head Elf & Official North Pole Postmaster
Ho ho hello, merry readers!
It’s your pal Jingles McGlitter here, reporting straight from the heart of North Pole Village, where the candy canes are fresh, the cocoa is hot, and the snow sparkles just right.
Now, you know Santa Claus is the busiest man in the North Pole this time of year — checking the Nice List, overseeing the toy shop, and making sure the reindeer don’t sneak extra gingerbread from Mrs. Claus’s kitchen (guilty as charged, Dasher!). Even with all that, Santa takes time every single year to sit down at his great desk to read all of the letters he receives from children, and to write very special letters.
These aren’t just any letters. They are perfectly personalized notes sent to children all around the world. And guess what? That’s where we — the Bayside Christmas Helper Team — come in!
Santa trusts us to make sure each letter is delivered with care. We double-check the spelling of names, add the official North Pole seal, tuck the letter in a snow-safe envelope, and sprinkle in a pinch of North Pole sparkle before it begins its journey.
Why Santa’s Letters Are So Magical
When a child opens a personalized letter from Santa that he wrote just for him or her, something wonderful happens:
Santa Knows Their Good Deeds
Santa keeps a careful eye (with a little help from the elves) on all the kind things children do. When he writes about them in his letter, it’s proof he really is watching from the North Pole!
Encouragement to Stay Kind
Hearing Santa’s praise makes children want to keep helping, sharing, and caring — not just at Christmas, but all year long.
A Memory to Treasure
Many families keep Santa’s letters forever, tucked safely away like a snowflake that never melts.
Our Special Mission
Here in the Post & Parcel Department, we take Santa’s words and make sure they find their way to the right hands at just the right time. It’s an important job — after all, each letter carries a little bit of Christmas magic inside it.
So, if you hear the rustle of paper and the soft jingle of sleigh bells in your mailbox this December, don’t be surprised. It just might be one of Santa’s very own letters, traveling through the frosty night, on its way to someone very special.
Until next time, keep your cocoa warm and your hearts merry.
Yours in peppermint cheer,
Jingles McGlitter
